Environmental Stewardship

The Environmental Stewardship Ministry works to identify ways to make Second Presbyterian Church and the larger community more sustainable. Areas of focus include church facilities, church and home life, and programs and outreach. The Ministry meets meet monthly on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. Please select E31 on your Time & Talents Covenant.

We work on speakers and programs to educate and inspire the congregation in the area of environmental conservation and sustainability. Select E32 on your Time and Talents Covenant.

We gather once a quarter to pick up litter on the portion of North University Avenue that has been adopted by the church. Select E33 on your Time and Talents Covenant.

We meet once a month to pick up trash at Two Rivers Park. We provide grabbers, gloves, bags and visibility vests. Select E34 on your Time and Talents Covenant.
